MY REVIEW:
Some reviews are easy to write and some take some time and thought and contemplating. Bad is one of the easy ones and will consist of a few words, many exclamation marks and a couple of OMGS.
This is the second book in the Mad, Bad and Dangerous trilogy and it’s even funnier, more outrageous and ruder than the first book.
It definitely can be read as a stand-alone as the author brilliantly reminds the reader of what happened in book 1 which for me was absolutely perfect as I have the memory of a goldfish and read book 1 ages ago.
Alvie, our feisty, sex mad, psycho and accidental assassin is back and this time she’s mad and determined to hunt down and kill and f*ck Nino, for abandoning her in London, stealing the Lamborghini and €2million.
Bad is absolutely OUTRAGEOUS, RUDE, CRUDE and hysterical throughout. There are some truly cringeworthy scenes that I wish I could remove from my mind, but alas the dog napping, tattoo parlour and where she keeps the hand grenade are permanently etched in my head now.
I needed a break from all the heavy psychological thrillers and emotional contemporary dramas and Bad was absolutely perfect.
Highly recommended for a shocking giggle and can’t wait for the final book in the series now.
