Monthly Round Up – January 2018

Firstly Happy New Year.  I hope that January has been a great month for you all so far book-wise as it’s been a cracker for me.  Once again I am choosing books to read that I’ve heard wonderful things about, books I’ve been asked to participate on the blog tour for and books that are tipped to be “the most anticipated books of 2018” as I still suffer from acute FOMO.

Below are the books I’ve read, reviewed and recommended during January;

  1. The Plea – Steve Cavanagh – The 2nd book in the Eddie Flynn series – and they keep getting better – read my full review here
  2. A Murder of Magpies – Mark Edwards – A scary novella follow up to The Magpies – review to follow
  3. The Liar – Steve Cavanagh – Book 3 in the Eddie Flynn series – highly recommended – read my full review here
  4. The Innocent Wife – Amy Lloyd – A thought-provoking and well written debut – read my thoughts here
  5. Kill Me Again – Rachel Abbott – Book 5 in DCI Tom Douglas series and could be my favourite so far – read my full review here
  6. The Woman in the Window – AJ Finn – one of the most anticipated thrillers for 2018 – here is my full review
  7. The Sixth Window – Rachel Abbott – Book 6 in DCI Tom Douglas series – they are all fantastic – read my thoughts here
  8. The Reunion – Samantha Hayes – Full review to follow as part of the #blogtour
  9. The Tattooist of Auschwitz – Heather Morris – A stunning story of hope, survival and love in the most harrowing and horrific circumstances- read my full review here
