My review: So, this is the 6th book in the Robert Hunter series and if you are looking for sick, twisted serial killers then this is the book for you. An Evil Mind is slightly different to the previous 5 books for a couple of reasons, one being that his wonderful partner Carlos Garcia is not featured in this book at all, the other is that we find out quite a lot about Robert’s past in this book, particularly about his childhood which I really enjoyed as I’ve always wondered about several issues up to this point.
I have no intention of giving away the plot here or spoiling it for future readers – except to say – it’s Chris Carter – so it’s sick, twisted, devious, gory, gruesome and there were many elements that reminded me of Silence of the Lambs. Another FAB book featuring one of my favourite crime busters.

He worked as a criminal psychologist for several years before moving to Los Angeles, where he swapped the suits and briefcases for ripped jeans, bandanas and an electric guitar.
