My Review:  Chasing the Dead is the first book in the extremely popular David Raker series which was published in 2010 and the latest book (10) No One Home is being published in May 2019.

I’ve only heard positive reviews about this series and being an OCD reader I needed to start at the beginning to learn the full story behind the main character and so I’ve downloaded all Tim’s other books and started Chasing the Dead.

We meet David Raker, an investigator into missing persons and a recent widower who has been asked to find a colleagues missing son who disappeared 5 years ago, his body was found in a burnt out car a year ago, but his mother swears she saw him walking across the street within the past few months.

Still raw and grieving from the loss of his wife, David reluctantly agrees to look for Alex and finds himself caught up in a violent and deathly chase for survival.  This is a really fast-paced action thriller with a high body count and several twists I did NOT see coming.  A great introduction to this series which I have been reliably informed gets better and better!
