SHE THOUGHT IT WAS FATE. I KNEW IT WASN’T.
Honor’s life is nearly perfect: she adores her bright and beautiful daughter, Chloe, and her charming, handsome husband, Tom, even if he works one hundred hours a week. Yet Honor’s longing for another baby threatens to eclipse all that is wonderful – until a shocking event changes everything.
Years later, Tom makes a decision that ripples through their family’s life in ways he could never have predicted. As the consequences of his choice continue to unfold, two women’s paths become irrevocably intwined.
Blending a page-turning moral dilemma with a sweeping love story, Finding Grace explores the price of secrets and asks whether it’s ever too late to tell the truth.

My Thoughts:
I listened to Finding Grace on Audible and honestly this now goes into my Top Ten Audio books of all time. This beautifully written debut novel by Loretta Rothschild touched me emotionally, spiritually and mentally and I was literally blown away.
The story is brilliantly narrated by Fiona Button who brought the characters to life in a way I hadn’t experienced before. I only listen to audio books whilst driving or walking the dog normally, however this story was so moving I stuck my earpods in and happily ignored my family for a couple of days because I literally couldn’t stop listening.
I’ve read quite a few books over the past 40+ years and I can honestly say that this book has the most jaw-dropping, shocking, cataclysmic and twisted first chapter I have EVER read/listened to.
I know most people like to read reviews to get a feel of what the book is about, but I am NOT going to do that because I went into this story blind and I think that made my emotional journey that much better due to not really knowing what was going to happen.
Just know this: Finding Grace is deeply moving, very emotional and a powerful tale of grief and love. There are moments you will cry and moments you will smile through your tears. There are moments you will gasp out loud and moments you will cringe internally. It’s beautifully written and has a cast of characters that will feel like family.
That’s all I am going to say – just read it or listen to it and be transported emotionally and mentally into a world full of love and hope. (Warning you may need tissues and a big hug afterwards!)
