A missing girl. A frantic mother. A desperate search.
Across the country, notes taped to restroom stalls read, “On a date that isn’t going well? Ask for Andrea at the bar. We’ll make sure you get home safe.”
But Andrea—the girl behind the campaign—didn’t make it home safe.
She disappeared without a trace at seventeen. The police labeled her a runaway, and the case went cold. That is, until her mother, Sabina, starts digging for answers.
But the closer she gets to the truth, the clearer it becomes that not everyone wants Andrea to be found. A predator is hiding in plain sight, keeping close tabs on the search. And he’ll do whatever it takes to make sure his secrets stay buried.
Forget You Saw Her is the chilling standalone prequel to the international bestseller Ask for Andrea.

My Thoughts:
One of my favourite books in 2023 was Ask For Andrea, I was telling EVERYONE I knew to read it. I shouted about it over Facebook and social media. It touched me emotionally and haunted me for weeks so you have NO idea how gobsmacked I was when someone mentioned there was a new cover in 2024 and MY quote was at the top of the book…. wow.. but I have since been replaced by Frieda McFadden LOL.
I’m always slightly sceptical about prequels or sequels to brilliant books and have often felt let down as my expectations are understandably high, so when Forget You Saw Her was released I approached with caution.
Whilst this is a prequel to Ask For Andrea and does work as a standalone, I would strongly recommend that you read Ask For Andrea first because a) It’s OUTSTANDING and b) I said so.
I won’t give anything away except its heart-breaking, emotional, harrowing and everything you would expect from the author. An absolutely worthy prequel that provides the reader with the full back story to 17 year old Andrea whose disappearance launched the Ask for Andrea campaign.
I sobbed throughout and then again when I saw Noelle had mentioned me in the acknowledgements.
