My name is Kitty Collins and I’m a serial killer.
I don’t want to kill. It’s just so hard to resist. Some men really, really deserve it.
Men like Blaze Bundy, an anonymous influencer spreading misogyny online. He’s making it very hard for me to control my murderous urges.
Meanwhile I’m in the South of France to watch my mother marry a man I’ve never met. I should be drinking cocktails and focusing on my tan, not plotting a murder.
But a woman’s work is never done. Surely one more teensy little kill wouldn’t hurt, would it?

My Thoughts
I Bet You’d Look Good in A Coffin is the second book in the wonderfully funny series featuring Kitty Collins, the best vegan serial killer in crime fiction.
I thoroughly enjoyed the first book How To Kill Men and Get Away With It which I read in April 2023, and despite being almost 18 months ago since I read it, it was easy to pick up from where we last left Kitty and re-enter her rather funny, warped and often disastrous life.
There aren’t many books that I read in one sitting, but this is one that grabbed me from the opening chapter and I didn’t stop until the final paragraph.
It’s now a year since Kitty has killed. She’s living with her boyfriend Charlie, still close with her girlfriends and living what appears to be her ideal life, except something isn’t quite right. When an invitation arrives to her mother’s wedding in the South of France, it coincides with some unwanted attention from a dangerous influencer called Blaze Bundy.
Honestly, this was such a fun story. Kitty is my heroine. It doesn’t matter that she’s a serial killer because she is sassy, funny, loyal and utterly bonkers and that’s why I adore her.
I can’t wait to see what happens next to Kitty and hope that Katy Brent has already started writing book 3!
