My Review: I read this following the recommendations from fellow readers on my bookclub as many had put this in their top 10 books of 2016.
Having spent the past day devouring each page and trying to get out of socialising with the family just so I can read it is confirmation that this is a brilliant book.
Clever, tense and deeply unsettling Lie With Me is narrated by Paul, a 42 year old man who has spent his life using people for his own gratification both financially and sexually. I assume that many readers will find him deplorable and unsympathetic but worryingly I was enthralled by him and actually rather like him.
This book is, in my opinion, a perfect psychological thriller and I look forward to reading more from this author
