London’s murder investigations team returns in the second novel from the bestselling author of In the Shadows.
My Review: I only recently read Tara Lyon’s debut novel In the Shadows (see my full review here) and thoroughly enjoyed it so immediately downloaded the second book to read. Once again the author shows a skill of being able to create a realistic and authentic police procedural story and bringing the team to life.
In this second book we find out more about DI Denis Hamilton’s past and understand more about his motivation and what makes him tick when his team are tracking down a horrific serial killer who is targeting single mothers and their young sons.
I would strongly recommend this book, but if like me you can’t read books out of order – read In the Shadows first.
