It is an ordinary Thursday and things should finally be returning to normal.

Except trouble is never far away where the Thursday Murder Club is concerned. A decade-old cold case leads them to a local news legend and a murder with no body and no answers.

Then a new foe pays Elizabeth a visit. Her mission? Kill…or be killed.

As the cold case turns white hot, Elizabeth wrestles with her conscience (and a gun), while Joyce, Ron and Ibrahim chase down clues with help from old friends and new. But can the gang solve the mystery and save Elizabeth before the murderer strikes again?

My Review:

I read the first 2 books in the series but decided to use my Audible Credit to listen to the 3rd book, and boy, am I glad I did.

Brilliantly narrated by Fiona Shaw (who absolutely should be cast as Elizabeth in the film adaptations).

If you’ve read the first 2 books, then you know exactly what to expect from Richard Osman and The Thursday Murder Club.

Following on from book 2, the crew are back with a new cold case to investigate.

With kidnaps, murders, Russian oligarchs, money laundering, Elizabeth, Joyce, Ron, and Ibrahim are once again entertaining the readers with high jinks and mischief.

Another great book in this highly entertaining series.
