My Review: OK so this is quite an easy book to review in just 3 words. Bonkers, Quirky, Slapstick.
I read Antti Tuomainen’s last book The Man Who Died because I had been told it was absolutely wonderful, so I did and it was! Therefore, when I heard he had a new book Palm Beach, Finland out and was asked if I wanted to be on the blogtour, I jumped on board without even reading the blurb.
Once again, the author displays a talent for wacky and hilarious characters, absurb plotlines, ridiculous situations and a completely surreal story which keeps the reader smiling and shaking their head in disbelief and then wondering what medication the author is on and where I can get hold of some myself.
A really enjoyable change from all the dark, suspense thrillers and perfect for some light relief.
About the Author: Finnish Antti Tuomainen was an award-winning copywriter when he made his literary debut in 2007 as a suspense author.
