My Thoughts:

The Guilty Couple is CL Taylor’s 11th standalone psychological novel and I’ve read 9 of them so far, which are all wonderful and highly recommended. I don’t know how I missed The Guilty Couple when it was published in 2022, but it’s free on Kindle Unlimited and currently has over 14k reviews on Amazon and almost half of those are 5 stars so if that doesn’t convince you, let me try:

The story is about Olivia Sutherland who was convicted of plotting to murder her husband and has been in prison for the past five years. She has always denied the accusations and is determined to prove her innocence, but her main priority is to rebuild her relationship with her daughter who is now 12 years old and expose her ex-husband for framing her.

Spending 5 years in prison has changed Olivia. She’s stronger, more determined and focused and is not afraid to bend some rules to clear her name and get justice finally.

The story is told through multiple points of view and has short but gripping chapters which if you suffer from “one more chapter” syndrome will guarantee you can’t put the book down.

I really felt for Olivia and was rooting for her from the start and as for her ex-husband Dominic, he is a real piece of work – nasty, vindictive and twisted. The perfect combination for a gripping psychological thriller.

So, if you fancy a gripping, twisted and entertaining story of revenge, then download a copy of The Guilty Couple.
